This Akubra version of the original Bushman's felt hat is made from 100% rabbit fur felt,
like all the others in the range.
The Coober Pedy however is named after the place Australian opal was first mined (1911 for anyone interested).
The reason for this is that a little opal adorns each Coober Pedy,
twinkling away from the genuine kangaroo tail skin hat band.
